MATERIAL HANDLING/TRANSPORTATION
Procurement Buyer - Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years experience in Procurement Processing and have the ability to communicate with vendors and various departments. Must be familiar with Contract Administration. Must be able to function in a Project Management role working with assigned suppliers to maintain constructive and positive relations. Responsibilities will include initiating and overseeing supplier development activities to enhance supplier service levels. Providing periodic evaluations for use in improving supplier capabilities and rewarding exemplary supplier performances. Traveling to assigned supplier facilities to support company and departmental company activities necessary for successful project launch/completion. Compiling and preparing assigned detailed monthly reports to document departmental activity and accomplishments. Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
